Dr. Robert Kelly is a board certified general and bariatric surgeon providing detailed surgical care to patients in Savannah and southeast Georgia. In addition to his specialties, he is board certified in obesity medicine. He performs weight loss surgery, gallbladder surgery and hernia repair. When I joined Lowcountry OB/GYN, I had over 20 years of experience in the field. \n After completing my residency at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Portsmouth, Virginia, I served in the U.S. Navy on active duty for a decade and retired as a lieutenant commander. I have enjoyed practicing obstetrics and gynecology in the Charleston, South Carolina, area for more than 19 years. \n I'm honored to be part of my patients' healthcare journey and especially enjoy adolescent gynecology, menopause management, weight management and preventive healthcare. \n When not busy with my practice, I'm probably doing something outdoors, traveling or at a concert. Dr. Jeffrey Houlton is a board-certified head and neck surgeon specializing in facial plastics and reconstruction. He is committed to the comprehensive care and recovery of his patients. Upon graduating with honors from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Dr. Houlton completed his residency in head and neck surgery at the University of Cincinnati and fellowship in Head & Neck Oncology/Microvascular Reconstruction at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, is a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons, and is apart of the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute as Director of Head and Neck Quality and Patient Outcomes.

Dr. Roife emphasizes treatment of his patients the same way that he would want his own family members treated. He takes an honest an approach in giving his best recommendations during what is often the most difficult time of the patients' lives. Being a Surgical Oncologist, he aims to take a central role in coordinating the total care of the cancer patient, not only the surgical aspects.

David M. Neskey, M.D., MSCR, FACS is originally from Massachusetts. He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College with a distinction in research in 2006 followed by a residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Miami. He then completed a fellowship in head and neck surgical oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. This training experience was comprised of two years dedicated to translational science research followed by a year committed to head and neck surgical oncology. He served as an assistant and associate professor in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina for seven years and served as the Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Fellowship Director at the Medical University of South Carolina for the past year and a half. Dr Neskey has published over 50 peer reviewed articles and book chapters focused on the molecular pathways and genomic alterations associated with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. In addition, Dr. Neskey has been the principle investigator for several ongoing trials, including a Phase II investigator initiated trial of nivolumab as a presurgical treatment for patients with oral cavity cancer. He has served as co-director of the Cancer Immunology Program of Hollings Cancer Center and was co-program director of the Hollings Cancer Center K12 Paul Calabresi Clinical Oncology Career Development Program. He is also currently funded through the NIH/NIDCR. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the American Head and Neck Society, American Academy of Clinical Research, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, as well a Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute Director.

Dr. Lentsch is a surgeon who specializes in head and neck cancer, thyroid tumors, salivary tumors, and skin cancers of the head and neck, particularly melanoma. In addition he has the largest experience in South Carolina with salivary endoscopy and minimally invasive salivary gland surgery as well as with hypoglossal nerve stimulator implantation - the newest surgical treatment for obstructive sleep apnea. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Kentucky and earned his medical degree at the University of Louisville. Dr. Lentsch continued at the University of Louisville for his Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency and then completed a two year fellowship in Head and Neck Cancer Surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Benner is board certified in cardiac, vascular and thoracic surgery. Dr. Benner, chief of cardiac surgery for Trident, says, ``The precision and attention to detail are what attract me and keep me enjoying surgery, as well as seeing the patients do so well. It's very rewarding.`` Dr. Benner also enjoys sharing his work with his six children who have grown up visiting his practice. In his spare time, he is an avid cyclist and is a South Carolina state master's cycling champion.

The personal nature of Urology can pose a challenge for men and women seeking treatment, and Dr. Taylor Vaughan understands this. In fact, he embraces the opportunity to establish trust and discuss these sensitive subjects with his patients. Dr. Vaughan's focus, he says, is on forming partnerships with patients who share the goal of treating their urological problems and improving quality of life. Originally from Kentucky, Dr. Vaughan earned his BS at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, and his MD at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He then completed his internship and Urology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Vaughan is a board certified Urologist with specialty training including minimally invasive surgery/laparoscopy, oncology, stone disease, vasectomy and vasectomy reversals, reconstruction and prosthetics. He performs robotic surgery in adults for procedures involving the kidney, bladder and prostate. Dr. Vaughan is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA) and the Southeastern Section of the American Urological Association (SESAUA). Outside of work, he enjoys boating, exercising, watching sports (especially college football), and spending time with his family. Dr. Vaughan will see patients at our North Davis location and in Gulf Breeze.
