In a time when you are at your most vulnerable, it was nice to see someone with knowledge and compassion; but most of all the time that is spent with you.....to go over all fears and questions....not making you feel rushed was what I applaud him for. I feel very secure with him and my decisions.

Dr Carter is a professional caring doctor interested not only in your problem (in my case possible breast cancer) but in your entire whole self. He is compassionate and skilled in his profession. I sent a friend to him year or so ago. She had breast cancer and had not been to doctor for many years. She loves him. He saved her life. We are fortunate to have him. Thank you Dr Carter and God Bless you

I was referred to Dr. Carter after being diagnosed with early colon cancer. The refering doctor, Dr. Robert Mitchell, is someone I trust completely. I approached the consult with Dr. Carter expecting positive results. I was completely amazed at how wonderful he is. His genuine respect for this patient’s feelings and responses, coupled with his knowledge and approach to the treatment options, as well as consideration for the type of anesthesia, made me know he is best of the best.

I was a pt of Dr Melzig & now Dr Carter. I’m very pleased with his staff and, of course, Dr Carter. I’m a 14 yr breast cancer survivor and they make annual checkup time very comfortable. Would recommend him to anyone needing any type surgery. I did miss seeing Barb this time as she had taken the day off!!

Dr. Carter and his nurse Christine, were professional, kind and understanding. It's been a since I have encountered such a caring physician. His reassurance was comforting while I awaited the results of my biopsy. As promised he called, explained the results and let me know that he and his staff would be available if I had any additional questions.

When your surgeon examines a lump and says, "I've never seen anything like this before," it can be surprising and a little scary. Dr. Carter led me through the steps of investigating and removing the lump and did the necessary research to explain the next steps in treatment.
