He is one of the most experienced endocrine surgeons in the world with an expertise in adrenal, thyroid, and parathyroid. He is known worldwide and has published nearly 300 peer-reviewed articles, including in Science, Nature, and the New England Journal of Medicine--the very top three journals. He is the leading adrenal surgeon specialist at our facility. Dr. Carling spent 17.5 years at Yale and the Yale University School Medicine where he served as the Chief of Endocrine Surgery, Professor of Surgery, Program Director of the Yale Endocrine Surgery Fellowship and the Founder & Director of the Yale Endocrine Neoplasia Laboratory, a supreme scientific program focused on the molecular pathogenesis of tumors arising in the adrenal, thyroid and parathyroid glands. Dr Sarnaik's primary research interest involves investigation of novel immunotherapeutic treatments for melanoma. His clinical interests focus on the surgical treatment of melanoma and other cutaneous-based skin cancers, sentinel lymph node biopsy techniques, and minimizing surgically-related morbidities.

Dr Pimiento earned his MD degree at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He completed a general surgery residency at Saint Mary's Health System/Affiliated Yale University School of Medicine and a Fellowship in Surgical Research in Vascular Surgery at Yale University School of Medicine. He then completed a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology and Advanced Fellowship in Surgical Oncology Research at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Pimiento joined Moffitt from Mercy Health Partners/Mercy Health-St. Mary's and served as the Medical Director, Surgical Oncology at the Lacks Cancer Center. Dr Pimiento's clinical interest is in malignancies of the upper gastrointestinal tract, including esophageal, gastric, pancreatic, colorectal and liver cancers.

Dr Zager is the Chair of the Department of Oncologic Sciences and a Professor of Surgery at the University of South Florida, Morsani School of Medicine. Dr Zager's research and clinical interests include the regional therapy treatment of cutaneous melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers, soft tissue sarcomas. Dr Zager is internationally known for the management and study of locoregionally recurrent melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancer and soft tissue sarcoma.

Dr John Kiluk is a surgical oncologist specializing in breast cancer in The Center for Women's Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He was voted by his patients and peers asMoffitt's Physician of the Year in 2011. From an early age, Dr Kiluk accompanied his physician father on hospital rounds and learned the rewards of helping patients during a difficult time in their lives. Since 2004, when he came to Tampa, the Cutaneous Oncology Clinic at Moffitt has grown into one of the largest multidisciplinary treatment centers for pediatric melanoma and related conditions in the world.

Dr Matthew Perez is as an Assistant Member in the Department of Cutaneous Oncology. Dr Perez received his MD degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He completed a General Surgery Residency at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, where he also served as Chief Resident. During his residency, he completed a Research Fellowship in the Department of Cutaneous Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Perez most recently completed a Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center and the University of South Florida.

Dr Ricardo Gonzalez is a surgical oncologist and Chair of the Sarcoma Department at Moffitt Cancer Center. He also serves as a member of the Cutaneous Program at Moffitt Cancer Center. He is an associate professor at the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine's Department of Oncologic Sciences and Department of Surgery. Dr Gonzalez' research and clinical interests include outcomes analyses and management of patients with soft tissue sarcomas, retroperitoneal sarcomas, desmoid tumors, gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) and head and neck melanoma.
