Dr. Robert Wester was raised in Denver and is a third generation Park Hill resident. He and his wife have three children (two sons and a daughter). When not practicing obstetrics and gynecology, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, running, and hiking the Colorado mountains.

Richard Miller, MD, is committed to bringing high quality, patient-centered care to our community. Dr. Miller is particularly interested in learning about each individual patient and what is most important to them in their wellness journey. He believes in an approach to care that puts the patient at the heart of the physician-patient relationship, continually striving to exceed patient expectations. His goal is to provide comprehensive expert care that leads to optimal results for his patients. Dr. Miller offers the full spectrum of lung and esophageal surgery, specifically treating lung cancer, pulmonary nodules, mediastinal masses and lymphadenopathy, pleural effusions, hiatal hernias, diaphragm injuries and chest wall tumors. Additionally, Dr. Miller's expertise includes procedures for thoracotomy, sternotomy, minimally invasive surgery and thoracoscopic (VATS) surgery. Dr. Miller earned his medical degree at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, completed his residency training in general surgery at St. Barnabas Medical Center, a second residency in cardiothoracic surgery at West Virginia University and a Thoracic fellowship program at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Young has been practicing in Denver since 2005. He completed a two-year surgical oncology fellowship at the John Wayne Cancer Institute in Santa Monica, California. His prior education and training include a general surgery internship and residency at Michigan State University, Grand Rapids; a medical degree at the University of North Dakota; and an undergraduate BA at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Dr. Young's professional interests include all areas of surgical oncology with emphasis on treating diseases of the liver, the pancreas, the gastrointestinal tract, and the skin & soft tissues (melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, merkel cell carcinoma, sarcoma, etc.). He actively participates in clinical trials as either the principal investigator (PI) or as a collaborator. He has written, published, and presented nationally and internationally on the surgical treatment of various oncologic diseases. He has conducted basic science laboratory research in the field of oncology.He is an active member of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), the Commission on Cancer (CoC), and the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO).In his leisure pursuits, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelley, and their family. His interests include all things outdoors (traveling, cycling, swimming, SCUBA, hiking, gardening, and perhaps most importantly, entertaining his pooch, Oliver).
