Dr. Argeles is the Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UM BWMC. Dr. Argeles received his undergraduate degree from Duke University, a Master in Public Health from the University of South Florida and a Doctor of Medicine at the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. He completed his internship and residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Pennsylvania, and was named OB/GYN Teacher of the Year several years in a row. Dr. Argeles is board certified and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is specially trained to perform da Vinci robotic gynecologic surgeries and laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Argeles is an assistant professor of OB/GYN and reproductive science at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He speaks fluent Spanish and has been a member of UM BWMC's medical staff since 2005.
