She then attended Sint Eustatius University School of Medicine in the Netherland Antilles, where she obtained a bachelor of science in medicine followed by her medical degree. Subsequently, she completed a four-year residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport. In October 2010, Dr. Nelson moved to our practice at WK Pierremont Health Center. She is a board certified internist (American Board of Internal Medicine), primarily in the outpatient setting. Her focus is establishing a close and professional relationship with each of her patients. He then returned to Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport to attend medical school. There he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Wilson remained in Shreveport to complete his surgical internship and residency in urology. He has multiple publications and has given presentations at national meetings on topics including female incontinence, prostatitis and erectile dysfunction. Dr. Wilson is board certified by the American Board of Urology. He enjoys practicing all aspects of urology and has a special interest in minimally invasive endoscopic, laparoscopic and da Vinci robotic surgery.
