Biography: Dr. Knoll received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences, Chicago Medical School, North Chicago, Illinois. He completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in urology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. A frequent contributor to the medical press, Dr. Knoll has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts and book chapters. He has delivered numerous lectures and operated both nationally and internationally. Dr. Knoll has been a principle investigator in over 110 basic science and clinical trials of new devices and pharmacotherapies for various urological diseases including new devices and pharmocotherapies for the diagnosis and treatment of male erectile dysfunction, male and female urinary incontinence and benign prostatic hypertrophy. Dr. Knoll is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a diplomat of the American Board of Urology. He is also a member of numerous international and national medical organizations, including the American Urological Association, the International Society of Impotence Research, and the Sexual Medicine of North America.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Dehner practiced for over a 11 years in Nashville before founding Nashville Urology PC in 2021. His goal was to take years of patient care and experience and bring more patient-centered therapies to the community. These include increased office-based and same-day procedures for a range of conditions including BPH, erectile dysfunction, urinary incontinence, low testosterone, and cancer.

Care Philosophy: Patients are often faced with anxiety and uncertainty of disease management and outcomes, especially when diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Ramirez’s care philosophy centers around compassionate guidance through patient education and individualized care. He believes that medicine should go beyond providing state-of-the-art diagnostic tests and treatments and, instead, should focus on the needs, desires and interests of each patient. His primary goal is educating his patients by explaining exactly what is going on, and describing step-by-step the options for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of urologic conditions.

Biography: Originally from Cleveland in East Tennessee, Dr. Morris attended The Baylor School in Chattanooga, TN. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University and then earned his doctorate from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Dr. Morris completed his residency training at The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI with a special research interest in genetics that predict the aggressiveness of prostate and bladder cancers. He authored and co-authored multiple scientific papers throughout his training and has presented research findings at regional and national meetings. He helps coordinate the Advanced Therapeutics Center for prostate cancer therapies and our clinical research trials.

Biography: A pioneer in robotic assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy, Dr. Dasari received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University, and his medical degree from State University of New York. The first robotic-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy was performed at the Henry Ford Hospital in November of 2000. Dr. Dasari did a one year fellowship with Dr. Mennon at Henry Ford and afterwards joined Urology Associates in July of 2003. In August of 2003, Dr. Dasari and Dr. Phillip Porch combined their talent and expertise to perform the first robotic-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy at Centennial Hospital. Since then, they have performed thousands of robotic prostatectomies to date.

Care Philosophy: Born in Nashville and raised nearby just outside Owensboro, KY, I have always planned to be a physician. I attended college at Transylvania University in Lexington, KY graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in biology. I was accepted early at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and received honors in surgical and urology-related rotations. I was then accepted into residency at Indiana University Department of Urology, internationally known for treatment of stone disease and urological oncology. Following completion of residency, I decided to return south and joined Urology Associates in Nashville where I plan to continue to grow a thriving practice in urology.

Biography: Telehealth visits are available Originally from Wolcott, Indiana, Dr. Flora earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University and then graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He then moved to Nashville for his residency in urology at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Flora is married and has two sons. He enjoys spending time with his children, golfing and reading.

Biography: Dr. Jay Sulek was born in Hagerstown, MD, and completed his B.A. in English at Yale University. He attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine, in Baltimore, for his Medical Degree and began his general surgery internship at the Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Sulek continued at VCU to finish his urology residency where he received the Resident Achievement Award from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. He completed his Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Urology at the Indiana University Medical Center the summer of 2018 and joined Urology Associates, P.C., in August of 2018.Dr. Sulek has been involved in over 10 publications and abstracts, and received the Top In-Service Award in 2016.

Biography: Dr. Rogman joined Urology Associates, P.C., after completing his fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic in Urologic Oncology. His clinical interests include prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, prostate enlargement, and robotic surgery. He has over 10 peer-reviewed publications and presentations in robotic procedures and post prostatectomy incontinence. Dr. Rogman received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, and completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of Louisville. He was elected as Chief Resident at the University of Louisville before advancing to his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Florida. He enjoys running marathons, playing tennis, rock climbing, skiing and traveling.

Biography: A native of Nashville, Dr. Hill earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of North Carolina, and then attended the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He conducted his urology residency through the University of Pittsburgh.

Biography: Dr. Brandy Hood was born in Flowood, MS, and completed her B.S. and B.A. in Biological Sciences and Anthropology, with honors, at the Mississippi State University. She then attended the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, MS. During this time she also served on the Jackson Free Clinic Board of Directors and was named Board Member of the Year for 2011. Dr. Hood became a Research Resident at the Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine dedicated to her project on The Effects of Chronic Ischemia on the Structure and Function of the Urethra, and began her General Surgery Internship at Wake Forest shortly after. She completed her Urology Residency at the Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC, the summer of 2018 and joined Urology Associates, P.C., in August 2018.
