Biography: <p>Dr. Hasan Dani is a urologic surgeon with a particular interest in urologic cancers and robotic surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated magna cum laude. He attended medical school at the State University of New York in Brooklyn and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society. He then completed his urologic training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. During his training at Hopkins, he received awards for his clinical excellence and published numerous journal articles and book chapters on prostate cancer and urologic reconstruction.</p><p>Dr. Dani has significant experience in treating urologic cancers, including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancer. He also has an interest in urinary reconstruction and general urologic conditions including kidney stones, benign prostatic enlargement, voiding dysfunction, erectile dysfunction, and pediatric urology. He is skilled with robotic, laparoscopic, endoscopic, and open surgical techniques. Biography: <p>Dr. Lisa Parrillo is a reconstructive urologist.&nbsp;&nbsp;She is a graduate of Pomona College in Claremont, CA, and attended medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. She completed her urology residency at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA and went on to complete a fellowship in Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado.</p> <p>Dr. Parrillo sees male and female patients and has special interest in reconstructive urology; treatment of urethral stricture disease; treatment of erectile dysfunction; multimodal treatment of urinary incontinence; robotic treatment of ureteral stricture; robotic treatment of prolapse disease; treatment of vesicovaginal fistulas; vasectomy; treatment of urologic cancer; complex urinary infection issues and treatment of stone disease. Biography: <p>Dr. Adam Schatz grew up in Wenatchee, WA. He attended Central Washington University and earned degrees in English Literature and History, but he felt his true calling was in medicine. He returned to school and received his MD from Albany Medical College. He remained in Albany, NY, for the completion of his General Surgery Internship and Urology Residency.</p> <p>He is married with three young children and a dog. He and his family have spent nine years on the East Coast, and they are excited to be back in the Pacific Northwest. He enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, hiking, camping, biking, skiing, and exploring.</p> <p>Dr. Schatz is a board eligible urologist, with broad interest in general urologic care. He sees patients of all ages, including men, women, and children. Biography: <p>Nicholas J. Kuntz, MD, is a board-certified urologist who joined Idaho Urologic Institute in 2021, after serving as a urologist for 11 years in the US Army. He is a native of the Treasure Valley, and a graduate of Eagle High School. He received an undergraduate degree from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA, followed by a Medical Degree from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He completed a General Surgery Internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, followed by a residency in urologic surgery, and a research fellowship in endourology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. Before returning to Idaho, Dr. Kuntz spent 5 years in practice at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.</p> <p>Dr. Kuntz is well-versed in a full spectrum of urologic conditions and specializes in da Vinci&reg; robotic surgery and other minimally invasive surgical techniques. He has special interests in the treatment of prostate and kidney malignancies, as well as BPH (enlarged prostate), and complex kidney stones.</p> <p>Dr. Kuntz treats men, women, and children, and sees patients in our Nampa and Meridian clinics. Biography: <p>We are pleased to introduce David M. Sisul, MD, a highly trained urologist with Bingham Memorial Urology. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery, but is trained in the full scope of urological care including management of kidney, prostate and bladder disorders.</p> <p>Dr. Sisul participated in Harvard University's Pre-Medical Extension Program and earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed his General Surgery and Urology residencies at the University of California, San Diego.</p> <p>Trained in the full scope of urology, he manages kidney, prostate, and bladder disorders. He uses the latest in minimally invasive technology, most notably the da Vinci robotic system and GreenLight laser therapy, for urologic disease management. He specializes in prostate cancer, enlarged prostates, male sexual dysfunction, and manage disorders of the full urologic spectrum, including bladder and kidney cancer, kidney stones, hydrocele, spermatocele, incontinence, urinary tract infections, and voiding dysfunction.</p> <p>While studying anthropology and archaeology in college at the University of Chicago, Dr. Sisul spent five months in sub-Saharan Africa where he witnessed firsthand how preventable diseases like malaria, tuberculosis and HIV can go unchecked. Seeing this unmet medical need motivated him to make the treatment of others his career. Prior to his formal medical training, he spent two years working to develop novel HIV and influenza vaccines and another year working to better elucidate the mechanism of anthrax's virulence. Then, when someone close was diagnosed with prostate cancer, he felt compelled to make urology his ambition with the intent to contribute maximally in bringing a better life to those with urologic disease.</p> <p>``I strive to consistently provide excellent patient outcomes and pride myself on this,`` says Dr. Sisul. ``Further, I want to do all I can to help people find relief and not be afraid to live their lives because of urologic concerns such as urinary or sexual dysfunction.``</p> <p>When Dr. Sisul is not practicing medicine, he and his wife, an emergency medicine physician, enjoy spending time with their young family and with friends.
