Dr. McLelland's Biography — I grew up in El Paso, Texas. Playing competitive golf from early childhood through college. My interest in Chiropractic developed from observing my father seeking help for symptoms related to a condition called neurofibromatosis. This condition has severe painfull symptoms throughout the neuromusculoskeletal system of the body. Although Chiropractic care is not a "treatment" for neurofibromatosis, he experienced significant releif from the pain associated with it when he visited a chiropractor. This sparked my curiosity and desire to understand why this helped him so much. During graduate school at Palmer, I was assigned my first "real" patient during our clinic rotations. Apparently, no other intern wanted him, so he was given to me. Turns out, this patient was the Chief of surgery and ER at Mercy Hospital in Davenport Iowa. He also ran the community support program in the state of Iowa at the time for Multiple Sclerosis Dr. Samuel Williams D.O. The reason no other intern wanted him was because of his reputation. He absolutely hated Chiropractors and said it often, and the only reason he was in the clinic was because his wife Nyla was forcing him to come in. Dr. Williams was suffering from Multiple Sclerosis and suffered severe headaches related to it for years, it was getting worse. Dr. Williams was what many would consider to be a real "a.....h...". Dr. Williams was very intimidating! Dr. Williams experienced the most significant relief from his headaches under my care than he had for years. He was so excited about this, he started to take me with himn to his MS support groups to answer questions for other patients. He also wrote a letter to the National MS society recomending that they list Chiropractic as an adjunct treatment for MS patient to help deal with the symptoms of MS. He was subsequently asked to resign, and he did. Dr. Williams became the most significant mentor in my professional life. He has since passed away.

Dr. Klein's Biography — Dr. Justin Klein is a Washington, DC native and life-long student of health, healing and human performance. As a young athlete, injuries led him to his own personal kinesthetic awareness. His desire to understand injury prevention led him to study physical fitness, nutrition, human structure and optimal function. He took a special interest in anatomy, physiology, and biology, and when he discovered that chiropractic was the art, science and philosophy of the nervous system, he never turned back. He graduated with a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2003 and finished cum laude from the University of Bridgeport, College of Chiropractic in 2008.

Dr. Rosa's Biography — A member of the American Chiropractic Association Sports Council, Dr. Rick Rosa received his Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College in 1996 and was hired as a teacher at the college thereafter. In 1996, he began practicing in a multidisciplinary setting, allowing him to experience various approaches to health care as well as treat all sorts of acute injury and pain syndromes. He is still a member of the post graduate faculty at New York Chiropractic College and has lectured extensively on many topics and presently teaches other doctors about recovery in Sports. Dr. Rosa has many advanced certifications, including: Diplomate in pain management from the American Academy of Pain Management (DAAPM) Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (CCSP) Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) from the National Academy of Sports and Medicine Performance Enhancement Specialists (PES) from the National Academy of Sports and Medicine Certified Kinesio Taping Practioner (CKTP) He uses many active and passive soft tissue techniques and is certified in Graston Techinque. In addition, due to his extensive work in pro cycling Dr. Rosa has trained at the famed Serotta International Cycling Institute under Paraic McGlynn in the use of Dartfish motion analysis for bike fits. Dr. Rosa is pioneering research in the use of Dartfish, a high definition video motion analysis system to evaluate athletes from a movement assessment perspective to find and correct various muscle and joint injuries. He is also trained in the use of muskulosketal ultrasound that he utilizes in his Virginia locations. Dr. Rosa considers himself a "professional student" and continually learns more about the latest treatments and techniques to give his patients the best care available.
