Doctors prescribe Cogentin to help control the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. It improves muscle control and reduces stiffness in Parkinson’s disease patients. Other Cogentin uses include controlling tremors from other conditions and from severe reactions to certain medications. Benztropine is the generic name.
