Lisinopril is an ACE (angiotensin-converting enzyme) inhibitor. Lisinopril uses include treating high blood pressure and heart failure. Research shows it can also increase survival after a heart attack. It works by relaxing blood vessels and reducing the heart’s workload. Brand names include Prinivil and Zestril.
