Dealing With Depression Naturally

More than 1 in 4 adults in the United States suffer from depression. The disorder is often treated with antidepressants, but you also have some options to complement your prescription with non-medicinal treatments. Some natural remedies can be used in combination with antidepressants, and others have the potential to replace the medicine completely. While you should never stop taking your antidepressant without your doctor’s knowledge, do talk with your healthcare provider to see whether an alternative therapy might be right for you.
