Mobic (meloxicam) is an NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug). It blocks substances involved in pain and swelling. Mobic uses include relieving the pain, swelling and stiffness of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and juvenile arthritis. It may also help people with ankylosing spondylitis.
