Biography: <p>After receiving his undergraduate degree from University of Washington, Seattle, graduating Magna Cum Laude, Dr. Otoshi attended Harvard Medical School receiving his M.D. degree in 1973. He completed his internship and residency in internal Medicine at UCSD. After completing his pulmonary and critical care fellowship at UCSD in 1979, he established a pulmonary and critical care practice in Escondido. This practice became Escondido Pulmonary Medical Group, providing pulmonary and critical care services to the Escondido and Poway communities. Dr. Otoshi is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine.</p> <p>Dr. Otoshi has held past positions as Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Palomar Medical Center, Chief-of-Staff at Palomar Medical Center, Board of Directors of Palomar Pomerado Health Systems and Associate Clinical Professor at UCSD. He currently serves as the Medical Director of the Subacute Unit at Villa Pomerado. Dr. Otoshi has received a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and has provided administrative services to the pulmonary practice and served as a Principle Investigator for several research studies over the last 35 years.</p> <p>Dr. Otoshi is married and has two sons. His hobbies included traveling, camping, and skiing.</p>

Following this, he completed a medical internship / residency training program at Boston City Hospital, affiliated with Boston University School of Medicine. Subsequently, he completed a Pulmonary / Critical Care Fellowship at UCSD.</p> <p>In private practice in Escondido and Poway since 1981, Dr. Bender is on the staffs of Palomar Medical Center and Pomerado Hospital. He specializes in Pulmonary and Critical Care. He is the Medical Director of Respiratory Services for Palomar Medical Center and Pomerado Hospital and chairs the joint Pulmonary Committee. He is a Fellow of the College of Chest Physicians. Current Board Certifications: Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care.&nbsp;</p> <p>Dr. Bender lives in Escondido, CA with his wife, Marcia, and has two children. His interests include baseball, history, the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, and the beach.&nbsp;</p>

Biography: <p>Kenneth G. Trestman is a graduate of New York Medical College. He trained in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and performed a year of chief residency at the same institution. He completed his Pulmonary and critical care fellowship at NYU/Bellevue in New York City</p> <p>Dr. Trestman has been practicing Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine and serving the community of the North County Inland San Diego for the last 24 years at Palomar Pomerado Hospitals. He received the 2010 Patient Satisfaction Award at Palomar Medical Center. In 2015 Dr. Trestman will be devoting his time to practicing Pulmonary Medicine and providing consultative care at the Palomar Pomerado hospitals as well as his office locations in Escondido and Poway.</p> <p>Dr. Trestman also received his Rabbinical Degree in 2015 from Yeshivas Machon L' Horah. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine.</p> <p>Dr. Trestman lives with his wife Debra and 6 children in Rancho Bernardo, CA.&nbsp;</p>
