Biography: <p>Dr. Chodha grew up in New York City. He is familiar with the people of New York. He always finds New York as his home. He went to St. John's University to study physics and biology. He than went on to Medical University of the Americas. There he learned that his favorite field in medicine was psychiatry. The ability to help stabilize patient's emotions or maladaptive behavior has been the greatest joy for him. Dr. Chodha went on to finish his residency at Richmond university Medical Center. During that time he published in the Psychiatric Annals, Frontiers in Placebo Effect. He is board certified from the American board of Psychiatry and Neurology.</p> <p>After finishing residency, Dr. Chodha went on to further his training in Sleep Medicine. He felt that numerous patient who are taking sleep aid medication have an underlying sleep disordered breathing. He went to Baylor College of Medicine for his sleep medicine fellowship. He presented a poster presentation at the Sleep Medicine Conference on the topic called The Misuse of Hypnotic Medication in Obstructive Sleep Apnea patients and is conducted his finding for future publication.</p> <p>Currently, Dr Chodha is practicing General Psychiatry and is the Medical Director of Sleep Medicine at Upstate Physician Services.</p>
