She is a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine. Understanding her own desire to aid and help others in need she began her undergraduate studies at The California State University of Long Beach, where she graduated with Honors in Business Marketing. She received her Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University where she was honored for outstanding academic achievement. She has additional training in cranial sacral therapy through the Upledger Institute and is certified in Usani Reiki. Tina has over fourteen years of clinical internship and private practice experience. She is the co-founder of Coastal Acupuncture & Natural Health Center where she currently practices Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Usani Reiki, and Cranial Sacral Therapy in Costa Mesa and in the Laguna Hills office. She has practiced in several integrative clinics, including the Susan Samueli Center for Integrative Medicine at UCI where she was involved in the formation of the herbal dispensary and the launching of the off-site integrative center which incorporated allopathic medicine, Chinese herbal medicine, Naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, and acupressure. Tina has been involved in the development of patient care systems for an HIV Clinic where she participated in an outreach program to educate and support AIDS patients in optimizing their health and wellbeing. Tina served as a committee member for continuing education and as a member of the herbal medicine review board at the University of California, Irvine. Tina specializes in pain management, infertility, women's health issues, stress reduction, allergies, and digestive disorders. Other areas of her expertise include treatment of PMS, painful menstruation, menstrual irregularities, PCOS, and menopausal symptoms."
