This content was provided by Dr. Ford "A graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (now Kent State University) in Cleveland Ohio Dr Ford completed residency training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the James C. Giuffre Medical Center [North Philadelphia Hospital Systems] in Philadelphia Pennsylvania in 1987. Dr Ford is board certified by both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Ford is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Kentucky Podiatric Medical Association, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr Ford is the Director of the Jewish Hospital/ University of Louisville Podiatric Residency Program as well as the Fellowship Director of the Foot Reconstruction and Diabetic Limb Salvage Program. He is the Chief of Podiatric Services for the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Louisville Hospital & University School of Medicine. Dr Ford also is the immediate past Chairman of Council on Podiatric Medical Education {CPME} and former Chairman of the Residency Review Committee {RRC} for the Council. He has also served as president of the Kentucky Podiatric Medical Association. He as authored or co-authored over 40 peer reviewed manuscripts and continues to be actively involved in academic research"
