I saw this therapist a total of 3 times I believe. I am an adult and felt like I was in a Childs therapist office, so maybe I was in the wrong place, but not once was I told she didn't see adults when making appointment. I should have recognized the red flags when I called to make my first appointment and the receptionist asked for a "brief description of what I need to talk about with my therapist". I felt that was completely inappropriate. They are licensed providers for a reason and I am coming to talk to them already feeling vulnerable. I continued to try it out a couple more times, but after some visits, I decided to cancel my future appointments since the only thing she could remember about me was my name. I spent every visit reminding her of the issues we had already talked about instead of tools to help me. So it was an hour of me talking about the same thing and then time was up. Too bad there is no such thing as a refund for inadequate therapy.
