Her passion for social services began when she was a young girl, and in 2009 she began working as an administrator for a nonprofit organization that served at-risk youth in Miami, FL. She continued working with at-risk adolescents throughout graduate school, earning her Master of Science degree in Counseling with a dual specialization in Mental Health Counseling and Marital, Couple and Family Therapy in 2013 from Barry University. Since then, she has worked with diverse populations throughout Florida in various settings. She has a passion for nonprofit work, in order to make treatment more accessible and affordable for the community, and founded her own nonprofit in 2016, Agape Therapy Institute. She is the administrator and the lead psychotherapist, and is planning to expand the organization in 2018 to offer more services."
