Heitlers approach in a couples session was to script what each partner should say to each other in conflict. She had a little doctors stool with wheels, and — repeatedly — literally rolled over, very close to each, when it was their turn to speak and, having invaded personal space, insisted on what that person what to say next. Even worse, she also imposed the ridiculous and destructive precondition that her clients could not be seeing any other therapist while working with her. Extremely bossy, arrogant and aggressive.

Dr. Heitler is a frightening part of the system. I am concerned that she is a licensed therapist and can create so much adversity and devastation without claiming any responsibility. She oversteps her boundaries. She uses psychology speak to bully and intimidate. She threatened me saying "that if you do not agree with my new visitation schedule you will lose any ground you have to the courts after years of negotiations". The State Grievance Board of Colorado issued a Letter of Admonition to Dr.
