I worked with Susan Davis for several months and did not find that she was a good fit for me. I often left sessions feeling worse rather than better. She also suggested that I try EMDR therapy for PTSD issues after every session, but then we never did them. I found that to be really confusing. I'm...more

I am sorry you left feeling confused. If I did not move ahead with EMDR it would have been because I did not feel you were comfortable with it. Therapists are not mind readers and I wish you have voiced a concern. I hoped I made that feel possible for you. I notice that most of your ratings are 4 stars, I cannot understand how that reduces down to a general 2 star overall rating. I hope you found a productive therapeutic relationship for yourself. Please be in touch if you are in the area

I have found working with Susan to be one of the most healing experiences in my life. EMDR has been a really powerful tool and Susan is very adept in this method of working through trauma and helping the body release old emotions and wounds.

Susan means well, but she can't cope with her own reality. She goes on and on. About her own messed up family.

I want to thank you for taking time to review my services. I take my clients' input very seriously. When I share about my family, it is my intention for my client to see that no one is immune to challenges. I hope my client will not feel as "dysfunctional" or overwhelmed. Going on and on was probably my attempt to make what I was saying more clear.Or perhaps real frustration, still the intent was to relate to my client that I do understand. I hope you are well. Feel free to contact me. - Susan
