Stephanie Duininck, MSOM, L.Ac., holds a Master's of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College and is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Colorado. Stephanie is also certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). This degree consists of training in acupuncture, herbal medicine and adjunct modalities such as cupping, Tui Na (Chinese Massage), gua sha and moxibustion. She also completed an advanced study internship at the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine Second Affiliated Hospital in Harbin, China in 2015. This program included advanced training in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and Tui Na. Stephanie has completed extensive coursework in anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry. She enjoys drawing connections between western sciences and the way eastern medicine views the body. As a Crossfit athlete, life-long skier and adventurer, Stephanie understands how imbalances make it hard to do these activities that feed our minds and bodies. She uses many different techniques of acupuncture and bodywork to ease pain or discomfort and get you back doing the things you love. She has completed clinical training in the treatment of pain conditions using the Dr. Tan method as well as specialized supportive treatment for patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. She has been trained in sports medicine, women's health and pediatrics. Stephanie enjoys treating patients of all ages for a variety of conditions from anxiety and depression to allergies to back pain.
