Dr. Scott J. Kenny is a co-owner and a treating physician of Integrated Physical Medicine. Dr. Scott received his bachelor's degree in Biology and a Chemistry minor from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. He then obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic and second bachelor's degree in Human Biology from National University of Health Sciences located in Lombard, Illinois in 2004. While attending Loras College, Dr. Scott was a member of a NCAA nationally ranked wrestling team. Since that time, and while practicing at a past clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada, he taught classes in Phlebotomy, Anatomy and Physiology, and Kinesiology. He is the acting sports team physician for the Lincoln Way Patriots semi-professional football team, New Lenox Youth Football Association, the Celtic Elite youth wrestling team, the Lincoln Way Wrestling Club, and Ultimate Athletics South competitive cheerleading teams. Dr. Scott is listed on the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP) Concussion Registry as a healthcare provider who has successfully completed the ACBSP Concussion Registry Course (Concussion Course) and is therefore qualified to evaluate, diagnose, and manage concussed individuals in any patient population. Dr. Scott has also achieved post graduate certifications as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), a National Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and as a Fellow, International Academy Medical Acupuncture (FIAMA). He has also taken courses in Kinesiotaping and he has started three year post graduate Diplomate programs in Sports and Orthopaedics. His hobbies include nutrition, CrossFit, weight training, exercise, and wrestling.
My approach to patient care centers around a combination of chiropractic, physical therapy, and manual therapy. I believe that in order to successfully treat and rehabilitate the majority of people's health concerns, a 360 degree approach must be utilized. I have phenomenal success treating musculoskeletal conditions to include, all spinal and extremity conditions. Patients are treated like family and I will do everything in my power to help them achieve them achieve their healthcare goals.
