Therapy was a taboo subject in my childhood home. In my college years, I took a course with Dr. Fraser and his introspective lessons convinced me to reach out for help. It took me many attempts to build up the strength to make an appointment for therapy, but it was the best decision of my life. Dr. Fraser saved my marriage, guided my husband and me through parenting our teenagers, and continues to help me navigate life. He has taught me skills to overcome personal and professional challenges and encourages my confidence. At the lowest point in my life, he helped me pick up the pieces and rebuild a stronger version of myself. Dr. Fraser’s office is a comfortable, private, safe space. I have never felt judged for anything I’ve said nor belittled for questions I’ve asked. My experience with Dr. Fraser has made me an advocate for normalizing therapy, and I encourage friends and family seeking help to reach out to him.

Dr. Fraser literally saved my life. I owe so much to him. When I was caught up in addictive behaviors he brought me through. Time after time he was there for me, gently holding up the psychological mirror for me to see myself and what I needed to do to proceed into health. I continue to use his rules for life and tell others the many truths he has opened to me. I highly recommend him.

My ex-husband and I have been seeing Dr. Fraser for almost 8 years to help mediate ongoing coparenting issues. We began seeing Dr. Fraser at the beginning of a contentious divorce. It is due Dr. Fraser’s skill and experience that I am happy to say that my daughters are truly happy and secure, doing well academically, emotionally, and socially! Sometimes the truth can hurt and Dr. Fraser is exceptional in helping even the least self-aware of us become a little more self-aware and mature.

With great compassion, insight and respect, Dr Fraser supported my family through a very challenging and complicated divorce. His weekly sessions allowed me to keep focused on the important things, while surviving in a very hostile environment. He listened with empathy, was easy to talk with, and provide a safe harbor for me to voice my fears, anger and frustration. I felt that I was truly heard, and walked away stronger... with tools that enabled me to face the challenges ahead. We lived in chaos, and I am grateful for his reliable, kind and grounded therapy.

I’ve worked with Rick for most of my adult life & he has helped me navigate a treacherous world. He isn’t placative, will make you work hard & is extremely honest. He has done HIS work, is both extremely educated& experienced, and requires that you examine yourself - but gently. If you want something else, there is a treasure trove of therapists that will take your money & let you wax poetic, but never confront you on your issues & never hold you to task for your behavior. If you don’t want to work on yourself, look elsewhere.

We enjoyed his help while we were working with notso enjoyable life challenges. We particularly appreciated his willingness to meet on short notice to help us cope / get through some family relationship emergencies. His knowledge of parent-child connections was great, as was his experience in treating adolescents.

I have been seeing Dr Fraser for almost two years, and he has helped me change my behaviors and patterns and my life. He has helped me understand why I had been doing what wasn't working in the past, and to move on to being pro-active in my relationships now. And he has done sessions with my wife and I to help us understand our dynamics and how be better at listening to each other and to help solve relationship problems in the future. He actually listens to our porblems and needs, and tries to make both of us be more receptive to each other. I Highly recommended him.

I have been in therapy with Dr. Fraser for many years. He has been a great help to me, as I have worked through lake-fulls of emotional pain, including chronic anxiety and depression, and slowly moved forward with my life. Dr. Fraser has been: a great listener; insightful; empathic; and tough when I needed it. I think he's particularly skilled at working with men, though he has also been a great help to my wife and I on those occasions when we have met with him. I have great respect for the man and highly recommend him.

I chose Dr Fraser based on a referral from a friend while going through a painful and protracted divorce. He was attentive, communicative, and sensitive. His guidance, honesty, and expertise was immensely helpful in developing skills and knowledge about myself, allowing me to better understand my behavior and the behavior of others. I am deeply indebted to him for his assistance in my time of deep personal need.

Dr Fraser has helped me process and grow from my traumas. I received weekly counseling from him for about 6 months, after interviewing 2 other therapists. His insights are invaluable and he is able to very quickly help you realize your faults and what can be done to overcome. When I was advised to get pre marital counseling, I returned to Dr Fraser with my fiancee. Unsurprisingly, we both are very satisfied clients. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Fraser is simply brilliant. I have seen him for personal therapy, couple's therapy, and family therapy. In each instance, his compassionate insight and vast knowledge of the human condition were illuminating, supportive, and soothing. Whenever I need a psychological tune-up, he's just a phone call away. So grateful.
