If you are struggling to decide whether counseling is right for you or your teen, I believe strongly in the idea that "sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up (~Brene Brown)." I specialize in common issues that affect young people including: Depression, Anxiety, ADHD/ADD, Self-harm, Suicidal Thoughts, Bullying, Family & Social Relationships, and others. In addition to traditional counseling, I offer a curriculum-based program that takes 12-24 weeks to complete. The program is creatively inspired and evidence based. I love to use art, music, and other strategies to keep teens engaged and involved in the therapy process. I live in a little cabin in the woods, and I have a pack of 4 dogs and 2 cats that keep an eye on things while I'm away:) One of my favorite things to do is sit by the river and listen to the sound of the water."

I fully believe in the concept of unconditional positive regard for my clients, which lays the foundation for building trust."
