I went to Dr. Counsins for a life changing event in my life physically, not only did he show compassion but recommended actions for me to try. He made me figure out that the physical condition was not the issue but the emotional one was i had to deal with and I figured it out with his help, never went back to thank him but I will. I reinvented myself and became more successful than I had been, he showed me it was okay to have issues but no for those issues to paralyze me. Grateful for him

I would recommend working with Dr. Cousins as he is effective and supportive. I tried out other therapists in the Houston area and Dr. Cousins was a much better fit for me and the issues I was working through. With his approach I quickly saw results, and after each session I felt like I was making progress. Billing and scheduling was never a surprise, and he is reachable by email.

After a recommendation from my neurologist about pain management counseling for severe chronic headaches, I started seeing Dr. Cousins. Over the course of the 10 months that I saw Dr. Cousins, he was frequently very opinionated and sometimes argumentative over very small topics. I found it to be a little odd. Our sessions ended on a bad note. I wrote a letter of explanation. In turn, he replied with a very rude letter only meant to agitate me further. Would not recommend him.
