This content was provided by Michelle Thelen "Michelle believes in holistic health, meaning that she empowers her patients to understand the importance of a unified approach to care. What we think can easily influence our health. So can what we do and feel. How about what we eat? We are essentially influenced by our environment, inside and out, and we can be subject to forgetting how to adapt to the changing conditions.
Usually, skin conditions have both an inside and outside component of disease. Michelle will advise with regard to diet, supplements and herbal formula to address the cause. She also applies many external applications, such as powders and salves for acne and rosacea, to penetrate the dermis and promote the healing of damaged cells.
Acupuncture is applied to reduce rashes and itching, prevent recurrence, and heal associated digestive or immune system issues."
