As an Upper Cervical Chiropractor I focus on the intimate relationship between the top two bones in the neck (upper cervical spine) and the brain stem. Every message from the brain to the body must pass through the upper cervical spine. If there is a subluxation (misalignment causing pressure on the nervous system) present in the upper cervical spine, it can interfere with those messages between the brain and the body. If there is interference in this communication, depending on where those nerve pathways go, that part of the body will begin to break down or malfunction leading to different symptoms and conditions. By removing the subluxation your body can begin the healing process naturally by restoring the communication to the nervous system which controls and regulates your entire body! Removing the subluxation is a very gentle, specific correction that does not require and twisting, popping, or cracking. Your body can heal itself naturally, we just have to remove the interference!
