Dr. Fink received his B.S. and M.S. in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2000. He was a U.S. Air Force physical therapist and combat veteran (2001-09) last serving as the Officer in Charge of the Cadet Physical Therapy Clinic at the US Air Force Academy. Dr. (Major) Fink attended a Post-Professional Doctoral Sports Medicine Residency at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York (2004-05) and earned his Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy from Baylor University in 2005. In 2006 and 2007, Dr. Fink became board certified in Sports and Orthopaedics, respectively, by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). Dr. Fink has been a member of the Sports Specialization Academy of Content Experts then the Committee of Content Experts (2007-15), on the ABPTS Board of Directors (2009-13), and is currently a member of the Sports Specialty Council. Dr. Fink received his formal training in direct access physical therapy and manual therapy from the United States military (Army and Air Force) while active duty as well as studied with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). He currently holds an appointment of Associate Professor in Lebanon Valley College's Doctor of Physical Therapy program where he instructs the Differential Diagnosis, Pharmacology, Human Anatomy, Orthopedic Manual Therapy, the High Velocity Low Amplitude Thrust (HVLAT) manual therapy module, and Evidence Based PT Practice. He was also a former Adjunct Professor within the Program on Education in Human Structure at Penn State College of Medicine and an invited instructor to the International Diabetes Center. He serves as a mentor and consultant to orthopedic residencies and fellowship programs in Central Pennsylvania, as well as the military sports medicine residency program in New York. Dr. Fink is the founder of Pearl Clinical Education LLC and co-founder of Pearl Institute of Manual Therapy LLC and is the distinguished speaker in the areas of manual therapy, medical screening/differential diagnosis, diagnostic imaging, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and pharmacology. Dr. Fink has been a Pennsylvania licensed physical therapist since 2000 with his Direct Access certificate since 2009. In addition, he is an APTA Credential Clinical Instructor, a manuscript reviewer for national and international peer reviewed physical therapy journals, and serves as a reviewer for the World Confederation of Physical Therapy. Dr. Fink's research interests include manual therapy, medical screening/differential diagnosis, and injury prediction in athletes. He has authored publications in the areas of orthopedics, sports, and primary care and has presented his work internationally. Dr. Fink has received recognition and won numerous awards for his professional endeavors; most recently he received the 2013 Carlin-Michels Achievement Award from the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association and the 2013 Alumni Emerging Leader Award from his alma mater, Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Fink resides in central Pennsylvania with his wife Heather and their four young children. Dr. Fink has been involved in teaching others how to better their clinical skills throughout his career. He thrives on watching clinicians progress from that first point of exposure to manual therapy to becoming expert hands-on therapists dramatically changing the lives of their patients. Dr. Fink has a "pay it forward" motto, encouraging newly instructed therapists to then educate others in this powerful manual therapy skill set. Dr. Fink holds a high standard for himself and passes the benefits of his extensive personal practice and study onto those who he instructs. He loves to teach manual therapy, he loves to learn about manual therapy, and most of all he loves to watch novice manual therapists become experts paving the way for patients to have a new "Therapy Experience"!

He is an Associate Professor of PT at Lebanon Valley College, national & international lecturer, published researcher, and winner of numerous PT awards.
