This content was provided by Dr. Perrin "Dr. Perrin is a licensed clinical psychologist who completed three years of postdoctoral residency training in clinical neuropsychology in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Dr. Perrin has provided comprehensive evaluations to hundreds of individuals diagnosed with various neurological and psychiatric disorders. She has worked with individuals of all ages from a variety of socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. She has provided assessment and treatment in outpatient, inpatient and research settings. She has also provided comprehensive evaluations for criminal and civil court proceedings, both during her postdoctoral training and in independent practice. In addition to clinical work, Dr. Perrin has a long-standing career in epidemiological and clinical research. She has published numerous studies examining risk factors and neurological, psychological and cognitive symptomology associated with posttraumatic stress disorder and psychosis. She also serves as an ad hoc peer reviewer for various scientific journals and is a member of several local and national professional organizations. Through clinical service and scholarly research, she has become an expert at identifying complex, higher-level cognitive functioning impairments associated with neurological and psychiatric illness.
