Dr. Matt Freeman is a nurse practitioner and epidemiologist at Men's Health Tucson. He moved to Tucson in 2015 from Tel Aviv, Israel. Dr. Freeman holds a bachelor's degree from Brandeis University, a Masters in Epidemiology and Public Health from the Yale School of Medicine, a Master of Science from The Ohio State University, and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Duke University. He has been in practice since 2003. He is on the advisory board of the Men's Health Network, a member of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine, and he is board certified by the American Academy of HIV Medicine. Dr. Freeman provides primary care men's health services for adolescents, young adults, and adults. This includes: General checkups, Physical examinations for sports, school, and employment, and DOT/CDL examinations. Evaluation and treatment of depression and anxiety. Evaluation and treatment of low energy, weight gain, stress, anxiety, weight gain, and low testosterone. Care of acute illnesses like colds and injuries. Care for chronic conditions like asthma, allergies, and high blood pressure. Evaluation of treatment of sexual concerns, sexual dysfunction Screening and treatment of sexually-transmitted infections. This includes pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis for HIV (PEP and PrEP).
