This was a routine, annual, follow-up on my TWO hip replacements. The first was in the 1990's and the second in early 2000's. Both have been working well and passed inspections which I have done annually. My experience with this group has been so good that my wife chose to have her shoulder replacement done by this group of physicians.

SJRI is a great practice. Dr Christie did my bilateral knee replacements in 2007. I was glad to be checked-in with correctly the Covid-19 precautions! Martha was wonderful and explained that my fall in my shin did not cause any fractures. I do recommend people to the institute.

After surgery to replace left knee (right knee was replaced 5 years ago by Dr. Christie) I visited Martha Brinson for a follow-up. She examined the x-ray and pronounced me in perfect shape. I highly recommend Southern Joint for any replacement surgery.

Wait times are short, staff friendly and professional. Went for my 6 yr check after double knee replacement. Highly recommended SJRI. Dr. Christi and Martha have taken great care of me. I was back to work 8 weeks after surgery. Still no problems.

As expected and learned from previous meetings.... a GREAT exchange of info. between us and her concerns about 2 previous surgeries from a different practice and her diligence in getting up to date info. from them for analysis and further checking about a potential blood related issue was excellent and unexpected... We no doubt will continue the dialogue and eventual answers for my issue regarding pain and stiffness...

This was a 4-year TKR followup visit. Martha is friendly, efficient, and interested in the patient. When I mentioned that I was considering a lift conversion for my right shoe (due to unequal length of legs) she helped me measure for a proper increase and wrote me a prescription. That was very useful to me, and more help than I expected.
