Dr. Reed attended podiatry medical school at University of Southern California (USC) and completed foot and ankle surgical residency at University of San Francisco (UCSF) and at the Veteran's Medical Center San Francisco. Dr. Reed completed a surgical rotation at the Hadassah University Hospital in Jerusalem Israel. Dr. Reed has lectured internationally on biomechanics and has an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and exercise physiology. Dr. Reed is a NCAA Collegiate All American in Water Polo and has been on Master Swim teams and Water polo teams since graduating from podiatry medical school. Dr. Reed has served as a consultant for a number of professional teams and for years was the Biomechanics consultant for the Velo Avanti Racing Cycling Team and has been a team doctor for many local high school football teams. Dr. Reed has received extensive training in the areas of his specialty and is noted to be a highly skilled and a very talented surgeon. As a testament to his skill and expertise, Dr. Reed was voted by his medical peers to be recognized as a Top Doctor in the United States in 2014. In 2015, Dr. Reed was named to the Super Doctors list – a prestigious, peer-nominated directory recognizing outstanding physicians from over 40 different medical specialties.
