Dr. Singer's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Singer "Born in Baltimore MD, Dr. Marc Singer was interested in becoming a superhero until age 11, when he jumped off a flight of stairs and severely injured his left foot requiring surgery. Still suffering with debilitating foot pain into his 20s, Dr. Singer sought podiatric treatment and overcame his chronic injury through regular treatment, physical therapy and orthotics, using the ICON orthotics to this very day. Thankfully, Dr. Singer traded his childhood dream for a higher calling as an empathetic medical professional specializing in foot and ankle problems. Now, Dr. Singer is motivated to help his patients improve their quality of life by treating chronic pain and sports injuries, as well as conditions including corns, calluses, nail and skin problems, bunions, hammertoes and other deformities, and issues related to diabetes and poor circulation. Dr. Singer lives in Reisterstown with his wife Jody and Greyhound Zeke. He has three children: Emily, Jesse, and Jacob, and a grandson Henry and Granddaughter Matilda , who live nearby."

Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Singer "In my practice, I have always tried to treat the person, not just the condition, by getting to know their history, tolerance level, goals for care and activity level. I take time to talk to each of my patients and build a relationship around regular podiatric care, and together we choose a treatment plan that is best suited for their lifestyle.

Treatment will begin with biomechanical evaluations and may include regular podiatric care, physical therapy, orthotics and surgery if necessary. Diagnostic tools include X-Ray, Ultrasound, C.T. Scan, MRI, Bone Scan and Gait Analysis, then the latest techniques are used for treatment including: Extra Corporal Shock Wave therapy or MLS Laser treatment for chronic pain, and minimally-invasive radiofrequency surgery using the TOPAZ device. Surgery may be performed in the office or at an ambulatory surgery center.

The mission of my practice is to help as many people suffering with foot pain return to their activities with an improved quality of life as quickly as possible."

What People Say About Dr. Marc Singer, DPM
Very friendly, clearly an expert. Had an ingrown extraction, followed his recommendations after, had no pain during the entire recovery. Office was easy to get an appointment with, though he alternates locations during the week, so be aware he's not at this office every day. I would recommend...Read More
