Life can be unpredictable & we don't always get to choose our circumstances- especially when you're a teen! Even though we can't control the things that happen to us, or around us, I believe we can make life more livable & enjoyable by learning how to better manage the curveballs life throws our way.
Lots of people need this, but I choose to focus on helping teen girls who feel anxious, depressed, or have low self-esteem. This doesn't mean I won't work with others who don't exactly "fit the mold." It just means most of my clients tend to be young girls going through natural life changes and are interested in receiving support in navigating these circumstances from a mental health therapist.
I help these people by teaching them the skills they need to get out of their heads and start living a happier life. My space is warm, welcoming and inviting so people feel comfortable talking about all the icky, upsetting parts. I support these teens by offering individual & group counseling.
