This content was provided by Dr. Mayes "I have enjoyed providing eye care in Moore for over 15 years. I was with a multi-doctor practice until 2016 when I opened a solo practice, Total Vision Care. I take great pride in seeing my patients grow up and bring their children in to receive the same eye care. I'm proud to offer the same passion and personal attention blended with new state of the art technology and treatment options. Moore is my home where my husband and I are raising our two children and continue to be involved in the community. "
This content was provided by Dr. Mayes "Dr. Mayes recommends annual eye health evaluations for all children ages 5 and over to monitor for learning related vision problems that aren't always caught during school screenings and pediatrician screenings.
Adults up to age 40 should be seen yearly if they wear glasses or contact lenses or at least every 2-3 years to screen for eye health problems.
Patients over age 40 should be seen yearly to screen for eye diseases and monitor vision changes. If any problems are found, Dr. Mayes will recommend testing and frequency of visits appropriate for each patient.
Any surgeries needed will be discussed in detail and options reviewed. Dr. Mayes co-manages with surgeons she trusts with her own eyes.
Emergency eye care is a priority in our practice. We work in all emergencies as soon as possible with evening and weekends available. "
