I started with a desire of being a dentist after earning a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. In the event of "finding myself" as an adult, I knew there was something more fulfilling for my life. The exploration of becoming an Oriental Medicine Practitioner ended with three and a half years of graduate level training earning a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. I've had the opportunity of learning and exploring in the great city of Chicago, running a practice in Madison, WI and currently specializing in the management of migraine headaches in Upper West Side, New York, NY. Chicago was a wonderful city to live in, I was honored to enhance my skills in one of the largest and most diverse medical teaching institutions in the United States. John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County Illinois, formerly known as Cook County Hospital, has the most talented medical doctors in the field of medicine. My training, in the anesthesiology pain-management department, gave me extraordinary experience treating chronic pain to enhance quality of life for many patients. I have also gained experience treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder affecting Veterans and was surrounded by other medical healers who all studied various models of treatment such as allopathic, naturopathic, and chiropractic medicine. I have obtained over 3,000 hours of training in addition to 1,200 hours of clinical training treating hundreds of patients; learned techniques were acquired from numerous highly skilled medical doctors from China with an expertise in Oriental Medicine. My purpose when treating you is to listen attentively to gain a full understanding of what is in the way of your health and develop a plan tailored specifically for you. Treatments are customized to your needs and can include a combination of therapies such as herbal medicine, moxibustion, tui na, cupping, electrical stimulation, gua sha, and auricular therapy. When ready to take charge of your life and become the healthiest person you are meant to be, implementing a holistic approach is one of the best decisions you'll ever make. I welcome you to explore how Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine can help you and your health journey."

Your time spent here is for you and only you; not your boss, employees, coworkers, children, husband, or other relationships surrounding your life.
The atmosphere created is peaceful and relaxing. No matter what condition you're being treated for, you will be asked to release all stressors and responsibilities to really focus on yourself. Consider this your "me time" while Acupuncture is taking place.
I am especially drawn to treating women because I am a woman. I understand the many factors and changes we endure on a day to day basis. I understand the strength and weaknesses of women and the sacrifices we make.
More importantly, I understand how we take care of others - at times, before ourselves. Self-health is extremely important for happiness and longevity and I am so grateful to practice this amazing medicine with the ability to help others."
