Patient satisfaction ratings and reviews are based on personal opinions. Before you choose any doctor you should take into account their background, training, specialized experience AND their patient satisfaction to ensure they are the right fit for you.
I began working at NCG in 2010, providing both intensive in-home and MHSS services. I got my bachelor's degree in psychology & computer science from Oral Roberts University and a dual master's in school and community counseling from Regent University. I am a National Certified Counselor, Certified Traumatologist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Resident LMFT, and also completed the Medical Massage with focus in Trauma most recently. I was the clinical supervisor overseeing the Crisis Stabilization program until I became the Director of Avenues to Wellness in 2016. I have a passion for trauma and the way it impacts lives - relationally and personally - and have had the privilege to travel doing trauma work in South Africa, Haiti, Nicaragua, Kenya, and Romania. I am the Director of an international trauma training and response center in Trinidad & Tobago as well where colleagues and students alike all hone their knowledge and skills as well as practice them within the community. Fun fact about me: I play 8 musical instruments and love Japanese anime!
