Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Forman "Relationships, whether they are in the workplace, at home, in our faith communities or on campus, thrive when there is self awareness and self respect, and struggle when the "knots" of unresolved needs and painful experiences get in the way.  Psychotherapy is a deep trust relationship in which a client brings his/her dreams and hopes, the weight of the past, and challenges now; and I bring my experience with intimacy, connection and change.  It is not easy to find a safe environment in today's world to examine deeper, internal parts of ourselves.  In the psychotherapy relationship, that safety allows us to harness our own strengths and perspectives to develop more self esteem, effectiveness, communication, connectedness, decision making, problem solving, and contentment."
