Kristen Koprowski is a licensed genetic counselor with the Family Risk Assessment Program at Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in genetics from Rutgers University and her Master of Science degree in genetic counseling from Arcadia University. Kristen's prior work experience spans a broad range of genetics subspecialties, including pediatric and adult medical genetics, prenatal and preconception counseling, and preimplantation genetic diagnosis. Most recently, her particular interest in oncology genetics and cancer risk assessment has drawn her to Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, where she is a member of the Family Risk Assessment team. Kristen enjoys teaching and has mentored students in college, graduate school, and high school who are on their way to becoming genetic counselors. She has also provided educational lectures and case presentations in the local community, at Rutgers University, and at the Philadelphia Prenatal Diagnosis Conference. In addition, Kristen is passionate about technology and its tremendous potential to streamline healthcare practices, facilitate research, and connect patients with healthcare services and medical information.
