After a few years in outpatient counseling, I decided to pursue yoga teacher training and Comprehensive Yoga Therapy training from the YogaLife Institute, so I might enhance my ability to address the comorbidity of physical, spiritual, and mental health concerns. My yoga and meditation training began about 11 years ago while studying and living at a Rinzai Zen Temple in Japan, and I have since received specialized training and certificates in CBT, Reiki Level I & II, Mindful Resilience, Meditation, and Yoga for: PTSD, trauma, anxiety/depression, chronic illness, healthy relationships, nutrition, pre/post-natal, healthy body image, pain management, and stress reduction."
