Mr. Josh Allred joined The Center team in 2013 after earning a Master of Physician Assistant from the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) in Fort Worth. Under the supervision of Dr. Lance Mandell, Josh has developed a special interest in leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and other cancers of the blood. He performs all bone marrow biopsies. Before deciding to pursue a career in healthcare, Josh served in the United States Air Force while earning his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi. There he graduated Cum Laude and consistently made the Dean's list. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies, Josh was honorably discharged from the US Air Force as a Staff Sergeant in 2011. Josh is a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Physician Assistant Student Association. In his time away from his patients, Josh cherishes time spent with his family and enjoys hiking and traveling.
