I saw him in 2017 when he was practicing in Alamogordo, NM. He removed a mole on my stomach that came back suspicious, so he went in a 2nd time to get all the surrounding tissue. No complaints, got the job done!

Rude & an absolute jerk. I had him evaluate some moles on my torso and when he was complete, he stared at my chest (I'm a female) and didn't instruct me to put my bra or shirt back on. This encounter was extremely unprofessional. Go somewhere else, he doesn't deserve anyone's business & should never be hired by any medical group!

After a couple of appointments with Mike (Joseph) Wilkinson I will say that I trust his decisions as well as his demeanor in the office. He is friendly and to the point. His treatments are spot on and he goes to the problem and takes care of it without any hesitation. The office staff is friendly and efficient and the appointments have a short wait time. Thank you all for doing your jobs in the best way possible and I will be returning for other visits. This practitioner is totally recommended by me. Richard Paulus

I had given a positive review for Mike Wilkinson last year and want to again leave my thoughts of Mike and his practice. I recently went for my annual visit and as each time had little delay to see him. My checkup went as usual then Mike asked me about what I thought was an age spot on my hair line on my forehead, he asked several questions, how long it had been there, etc. After a few minutes of his questions, he said he was going to take a biopsy, results came back as stage 1 melanoma, it had just formed and to my great benefit, Mike's keen expertise caught it. The surgeon who removed the cancer was surprised it was caught at such an early stage. Surgery was performed with minimal invasive process and all malignant cells removed. So at the very least, a much more invasive surgery had been unnecessary and possibly a much more life threatening outcome had Mike not caught it. I feel this man is a life saver, once again I highly recommend.

Wilkinson is THE best! Definetly not a CNP that beats around the bush. He takes his time with patients making them know that he cares. Love that he is private practice and not part of the hospital. And when it comes to referrals that is an insurance rule not the office. If they don't have referrals they don't get paid.

Unprofessional, rude, jerk, doesn't listen, doesn't explain results fully & his response to, "how are you today?" is always a grumpy, curt, "busy." Going elsewhere this 2.0 GPA graduate needs to be fired from the hospital staff.

As a CNP, he is wonderful. However the experiences I continue to endure as well as the patients my offices have referred are beyond unacceptable. You are better off driving to Las Cruces to see Dr. Kerner. My daughter's insurance policy does not require a referral to Dermatology. Today, my daughter was turned away because I forgot to have a referral sent over ahead of time. On at least two occasions I have spent over two hours in the office waiting for treatment but they could not wait 5 minutes

I would highly recommend Mike Wilkinson(Joseph). He listened to my concerns and history of skin issues, in order to resolve a life long issue of Rosacea. As a Hispanic woman with a darker complexion, in the past my Rosacea has been misdiagnosed. Thanks to Mike and his prescription my skin looks clear and healthy. I will continue to use him and recommend him to all my friends.

My wife have visited Mike several time over the past year and been very satisfied. His staff are very friendly and efficent. Mike listens about our skin concrens and treats them after he has fully explained the treatment procedure. I would highly recommend Mike to any of my family and friends. Thanks Mike and Ashely

I am a 46 year old female struggling with unusual lesions on my face. Wilkinson was extremely dismissive, condescending and rude. He would not actually listen to me. He tried to force accutane on me. Accutane. Also... long courses of antibiotics. REALLY? With all the antibiotic resistance? AYFKM? He would not do a skin scraping, as asked. He would not actually help me AT ALL. He wasted my time. He's horrible. Find someone else.

I highly recommend Joseph "Mike" Wilkinson! Even if you have to travel a distance to see him, you will be happy you made the trip. Mr. Wilkinson listens to everything you have to say and does a thorough workup. He doesn't run unnecessary tests. He follows up on results immediately and give the correct diagnosis. After nearly 2 years and 4 other Drs, I found out my thyroid was messed up. I have my life back. Thanks Mike and Ashley, his MA.

I’ve had two spot removals done by him, and had two unhappy results. The first one on my hip healed in such a way that it now looks like I have a bite mark from the sutures. I’m not too worried by that one, as it will likely fade over the next couple of years... But the one on my inner calf went from an eraser sized spot, to a 2” nebula-shaped scar! He was informative and nice & I loved his nurses, but I’m hesitant to return since my calf came out worse than it was when I went in.

I have " had" a shin problem for over two years. Terrible rash and itching and was treated by another dermatologist for over a year to no avail. After Untold Prescriptions and shots nothing worked. Heard of Joseph, got in to see him and in about 4 Months i'm brand new. Of course i have to follow directions but as long as I do I'm good. I highly recommend this practice!!

We've been to specialists for 19 years in regards to the severity of my son's eczema. We even tried clinical trials with no luck. Within 6 months of seeing Dr. Wilkinson, my son's skin has almost cleared up. They even dealt with insurance to get the biologics approved. Thanks to our doctor being up-to-date with new tech and meds we are looking forward to the future! Also, they are working on their phone lines so that it will be easier for us patients to get through :)
