Dr. Joseph Pedoto, PHD

Dr. Pedoto gave me my first psychotherapy session ever, in a moment of great need. On that first visit he gave me the tools and the practical advice I needed to deal with my emotional and phycological problems. I was amazed on how understanding the root cause of my problems could help me heal and be prepared for my everyday life. He was very understanding and compassionate. I truly recommend his help, it will benefit you know and in the future whenever you need it.

My interaction with Dr. Pedoto was brief, but I felt that he was a great therapist. His approach to CBT was refreshing and different to what I have experienced with other therapists. He also recommended a great book that helped me along the way. I would recommend him to friends and family.

I came to Dr. Pedoto in midlife after some bad experiences in therapy as a young adult. I was suffering from depression, anxiety, rage issues, and had just lost my mother and gained a baby boy. He completely changed my life and made me a better person in every aspect of my life. I am forever grateful for my time with this incredible man.

Dr. Pedoto was helpful in allowing me to realize that I could overcome my daily anxieties instead of just putting up with them. Our meetings led to me having a more positive outlook when things did not go as planned in my life. He taught me exercises and methods of suppressing my anxieties that worked really well. Dr. Pedoto is superb. He gave me therapy and enabled me to move through several life-changing events - one very traumatic - and I came out stronger and I also learned so much from him. He educated me with information, articles, books to read and was very clear. Very professional and his REBT approach is the best - I recommended him to my close friend when she needed some help.
