To achieve this, I believe that therapy works best when it is tailored to the personality and the individual needs of each client. Rather than relying on just one modality of psychotherapy, I am trained on and use an eclectic approach, including Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, and an existential approach. These modalities are solution focused rather than problem centered; yielding faster and longer-lasting results. While in therapy you can expect to laugh, learn new things about yourself, grow and mature as a person, and discover valuable life skills such as mindfulness, sensory integration, guided imagery and healthier coping strategies that will prepare you for the difficulties that come to pass every day.
