Therapy with her made me a better human.
I am an early 40’s female with a history of on/off therapists. I found Dr. Joan Miller PhD 10 years ago. Dealing w/ an abusive husband, my loss of 2 children: left me questioning my life. She went above my expectations when she helped me not commit suicide. I still remember my first few visits. Learning about my background, giving me educational literature, suggesting coping skills, & guiding me on new ways of thinking~she taught me, I have the skills for a happy life. I was unfamiliar being emotional or able to cry or feel anger—in a safe place. Then, she created it for me. Her understanding, insight, & nonjudgmental wisdom move me in the right direction. Every time. If you are unsure therapy will help you or a loved one, take a chance on Dr. Joan! Your circumstances may be different. Invest by scheduling a 1st appointment. Truly, an incredible human, she’s the best psychologist I’ve ever known. I hope this helps you…like she continues to weekly help me. “You’re doin it”.
