What People Say About Dr. Janet Jones, PHD
Reply
Seemed to jump to a diagnosis of bipolar. I have never been diagnosed as bipolar before or after seeing her and I’m 53. I was just seeing her for marriage counseling. I would go into her office, she would ask me “on a scale of 1-10, how fast is your brain going?”, I’d answer to the best of my ability and told her that generally I would say a 5 as I felt that was normal & what I felt. She would then prescribe meds that really messed me up. I would NOT recommend her. A “cold” person.

The third week I saw her, she told me something that set off a flag in my head, and I said I didn't think this was the place for that. She then doubled down and told me, basically, that God had a plan and was watching over us and everything would be fine. I'm not religious, but even if I was, I wasn't there asking for religious counseling. This was wildly unprofessional. I will not be back to see her again.
