Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Pruett "My  approach is person-centered  involves intentional listening to the uniqueness of each person's narrative (story) contextualized in their intrapersonal ("inside me"), interpersonal (" among us") and the transpersonal ("beyond and above us")  sphere's. The content of what one shares is important but even more vital is both the energy exchanged and the meaning made as she or he moves through the stages of life experiencing associated transitions including inherent challenges with their allied losses and grief which can afford opportunities for growth, strength development, formation and resiliency. The integration of the bio-psycho-social-cultural-spiritual perspective  is used to foster the release of the person's inner leader along with basic trust in one's inner wisdom as well as the competent use of self  which can provide fulfilling spiritual, marital, parental, vocational relationship and deeper friendships. Counseling, psychotherapy  and supervision facilitates this process. "
