This content was provided by James Piffath "Jim Piffath is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Notre Dame. After spending 25 years in the business sector, he fulfilled a life-long dream by returning to school to pursue a calling to the helping professions. He completed his Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University in 1998. Since then he has had an opportunity to provide therapy and education in a variety of environments. He has worked in outpatient mental health clinics, substance abuse treatment centers, and career counseling centers. He ran the grief counseling ministry at his church for 8 years. He was part of the Family Preservation Team at a community mental health center and was the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist at another CMH center. He currently works at an outpatient mental health clinic in Baltimore and his own private practice in Howard County. His areas of expertise are: Anxiety Disorders Mood Disorders Substance Abuse Addictions Grief and Loss Marriage/Relationship Counseling Parenting Issues Family Therapy Career Counseling He is lives in Columbia, MD with his wife of 25 years. He has a 25 year old son, a 23 year old daughter and recently welcomed a grandson. His family is his greatest joy in life."

I cannot help but feel that this counselor is all about business. The first couple of visits felt promising, but the quality of sessions diminished over time.
