This content was provided by Dr. Longobardi "Born in New York City raised on Long Island, Interested in medicine since age eight. He went on to volunteer as an Explorer Scout in a local hospital emergency room. After one year in college he enlisted in the United States, and served four years as a hospital corpsman with the Marines. He is a disabled veteran. Graduated from The George Washington University he with a combined BS in Medicine/Physician Assistant degree, and worked in Neuro/Ortho Shock trauma for eight years. He attended Des Moines Medical University and received his DPM medical degree in 1989, and completed his surgical residency in San Diego, CA. Opened in 1990, and has been practicing in Chula Vista, CA. In 2006 he obtained his MBA, is Medical Director and Co-Chief of Surgery at a local hospital. He has a special interest in forefoot reconstructive surgery, saving diabetic limbs, and venous disease (Case studies can be found on Absolute Foot Care on Facebook)."
